Coffee was lukewarm but tasted nice. The meals looked good but lacked in taste. The Spanish eggs tasted like it had come right from a can of spaghetti sauce. Overall we were disappointed considering its already high reviews
This cafe is absolutely gorgeous! It's far away enough from the main streets of Bendigo to be nice but close enough to walk. The staff are really nice and interesting people who have a good knowledge of their products. There's options for all different food requirements. The coffee is really good too. It does get really busy though which can mean having to wait a bit but it's really worth it. Hardest thing is finding parking as all the streets around it are full with cars often.
On the recommendation of a former P&P employee, Maddy, myself and my wife had a lunch here. The place was packed busy but the staff were very friendly and very quick to serve us. I ordered a cheese burger and can honestly say it was one of the finest burgers I think I have ever had! My wife ordered gnocchi and it literally was melt in the mouth. I can't believe I haven't been here before but can certainly say I will be again many times, great place!
Food isn't bad. Cheeseburger was overcooked and a bit dry. Chips were just like proper French fries. The thick shake I had definitely wasn't thick enough and all the strawberry flavoring was stuck to the sides of the cup, making it taste like watered down milk. Waitress and staff were a bit rude when it comes to ordering. Meal prices were also a bit steep.
The Reuben is fantastic and the salad it came with was perfection, super fresh and not too much dressing. It's on the expensive side, but totally worth it. They split the bill too, which was handy. Would definitely go back.
