0/5 . AT ANY COST AVOID DR SARKAR, A POOR EXCUSE AND EXAMPLE OF A DOCTOR. HE WAS INCREDIBLY RUDE AND HAD NO PERSONALITY. THOUGH THE FACILITIES ARE NICE, GREAT PLACE TO TAKE A DUMP.

If I could give less then one star I would have. The reception staff are incredibly rude and incensitive. We borrowed a wheelchair as the patient could not walk as directed by the nursing staff. Despite knowing that the patient was in hospital with a life threatening illness we received many phone calls asking for an update when the chair was going to be returned. Do not use these people if you have another opportunity. When will Bendigo get a private emergency room so we dont have to deal with people like this.

Attended the medical clinic this evening (Saturday) as our 23 month old son was ill with a fever and very flat. Got in and saw a male ethnic doctor who was rude, distant and had no interest at all of being there. He briefly asked what was wrong and when we said he has a temp. He checked his temp & ears at which our 23 month old was flinching and pulling away and he cracked it and grumpily had a go at our 2 year old for flinching. He then asked what else is wrong.. and gruffly said he can have anti-biotics.. Very unprofessional, not at all thorough or personable and had no interest at being at Doctor..

We're only 'allowed' to use the night clinic because day clinic is not taking new patients, apparently. I'm told I have to ring for night clinic after 4pm. Staff tell me the government won't let them take advance bookings (huh?). Anyway, I've been trying for days to get an appointment but the clinic is booked by 4.30. Like most, I have work and family to juggle and I find this situation completely unacceptable. Today I rang and the doctor has called in sick. Which means they only have one doctor. But hang on, they advertise a state-of-the-art facility with excellent service and 17 doctors. Staff can be abrupt and dismissive, which just adds to my pain.

I would have like to give you a huge glowing rap and 7th ago I would have said to take anyone who is sick here caring and listening and even recommend this service to others. But in the past two weeks I have no idea what the heck is going on but I can't even get a appointment to my own doctor who took me on and agreed to be my family doctor now I can't even get to see her .and have seen another there as emergency and I shouldn't have bothered honestly I'd rate this below any other surgeries in bendigo where I wouldn't have 7th months ago. How quickly things change so disappointed that I have to find another family doctor.
